Privacy Notice
Last updated July 21, 2026
EndSchool is a product built by a student, for students. This notice explains what we collect and what we do with it. We’ve kept it short and specific on purpose — we’d rather tell you exactly what’s true than publish a long document that says nothing.
Where we are today. EndSchool is in early access — accounts are open and the product works today, and the waitlist is still how most people first reach us. If you only visit this site without an account, the only thing we collect is the waitlist email you choose to give us.
The waitlist. We collect the email address you type in and which page you submitted it from, and we use it to email you once, when EndSchool opens. We don’t sell or share it, we don’t send it to advertisers, we don’t use it to build a profile of you, and our analytics never receive it. We keep it until we launch and contact you, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. To be removed, email support@endschool.today; you don’t have to explain why.
Age. EndSchool is not for children under 13, and we don’t want their information. If you’re under 13, please don’t join the waitlist or create an account. If you believe a child under 13 has given us their email, contact support@endschool.today and we will delete it. We do not ask for or obtain parental consent, because we are not trying to serve under-13 users at all — we’re working to keep them out.
Analytics. We use privacy-conscious product analytics (PostHog) and error reporting (Sentry) to see which pages get used and to find crashes. For visitors who aren’t signed in, we don’t set a persistent tracking cookie (analytics state lasts only for your browser session), we don’t record your screen or keystrokes, and we don’t capture what you type into forms, including your email.
When you have an account. To do the work you ask for, we collect your assignment content (the instructions, and course material from your classes), your connected school accounts, writing samples so your work sounds like you, and screenshots of the pages we fill so you can check what was done. Any school credentials you connect are encrypted before they’re stored on our servers, as is the session data that keeps you signed in, and both are used only to do the work you ask for.
Who else sees your work. Doing the work means sending your assignment content to services that generate and check it: Google (Vertex AI) and Anthropic to write the draft, and Originality.ai to check that the result reads as your own writing. We also use Clerk for sign-in, Stripe for payment, and PostHog and Sentry for analytics and crash reports — none of those four receive your schoolwork. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it for advertising.
How long we keep it. Your assignment content and writing samples stay until you delete your account or ask us to remove them — write to support@endschool.today. Being straight with you about two limits: deleting your account removes your data from our live systems, but encrypted backups roll off on their own schedule rather than being erased the same day, and we can’t delete what another service already received — their own retention policies govern that.
Contact & changes. For deletion requests, questions, or anything about this notice, email support@endschool.today. If we change what we collect, we’ll update this notice and change the date at the top.
Questions in the meantime? Email support@endschool.today.
